Contributing writer Amie Just is a multifaceted sports journalist with a background in print/Web, radio and photo.

She currently serves as an intern with The Washington Post. Just is also a correspondent for The Associated Press covering the University of Kansas athletics, primarily football and men’s basketball.

Just also is a beat writer at the University Daily Kansan. She has covered women’s swimming and diving, softball and track teams for KU.

Along with her beats, she writes weekly columns covering the current hot topics in the sports world.

She is a member of the Football Writers Association of America and the U.S. Basketball Writers Association.

Just, a native of Funk, Neb., is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in news and information from the University of Kansas.
